Mosaic artist at Signorinis studio "Il Mosaico" (creating works for P. Dorazio A. Lanskoy B. Saetti E. Scanavino M. Schifano A. Sørensen, etc.). Teacher at the Istituto d'Arte and Accademia di Belle Arti of Ravenna (promoting meetings and workshops with Alchimia (Studio) R. Barilli R. Licata B. Minardi A. Rocchi R. Signorini). Artistic Director of "Galleria Rasponi Arte Contemporanea" from 1991 to 1996 (despite starting from an interest in the young artists of the area: F. Bocchini L. Caccioni E. Lombardi M. Neri F. Pozzi etc., he dedicated particular attention [often cooperating with the Cannaviello Gallery in Milan] to the European painting of H. Albert P. Chevalier U. Dziersk K.H. Hodicke C. K. Mehrkens H. Nitsch T. Schindler B. Zimmer etc., availing himself of the critical advice of M. Bonuomo M. Calvesi F. Caroli - V. Conti M. L. Frisa S. Ghinassi L. Meneghelli C. Spadoni etc.). He was simultaneously engaged as artistic director of "Studio Akomena" from 1988 to 2003 (working with authors such as: R. Arad - M. Bonetti - G. Demo - U. La Pietra - M. Lucchi - U. Marano - G. Pesce - E. Sottsass, etc.). Artistic director, in 1996, for the creation of the mosaic for the tomb of Rudolf Nureyev (at the Russian orthodox cemetery in Sainte Geneviève des Bois, Paris) designed by Ezio Frigerio and commissioned by the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation, with Stefano Pace as technical director, tomb structure by Atelier de Décors de l'Opera Paris-Bastille and mosaic creation by Studio Akomena. Towards 2000,
he joined forces with Francesca Fabbri and they pooled their design talents
into creations presented under the name of Akomena Progetti. Curator,
in 2008, of the "Giorgio Morigi Scultore" exhibition mounted
in the cloisters of the Casa Oriani library in Ravenna on the centenary
of the sculptors birth, to an idea by S. Giorgetti with presentation
by Alfonso Panzetta. |
